in late October will be an inspiring development! It means the grand occasion each Spring, #HOTYS Awards Night, when we honour hotel businesses, is now joined by a sparkling 'End of Season' celebration in Autumn when we honour in proper style our leading people in every department - staff and management. Research & Review visits are underway and year-round.
EXCITING GUEST SITE PROGRESS
Our new consumer site / scheme will showcase best Scottish hotels in an imminent demo phase from summer. A BIG project, it'll be a fabulous resource - full of ideas, new BestList™ ratings, live reviews, HOTYS awards plus those of respected guides, in-depth features, links to hotels' own offers /
own booking system - and more.
Active Program Members will have their own PowerPage on the guide, plus links here on
this site - may choose from various rating options / signs... nice to have now VisitScotland has ended star ratings!

Crowne Plaza SEC Glasgow, partnering a successful ScotHot 2025 - the big evening bash between the two hospitality expo days. Next year's most prestigious of Scottish hotel awards event will be held on
Sunday 22nd March 2026. But first...

We'll shortly release details of the inaugural event as the
2025 Hotel People of the Year™ Scotland
programme nears. This year, in later October, it'll include a wide range of staff & management awards not presented in Spring - and by 2026 almost all people awards, bar certain industry honours, will be presented at this occasion rather than at the HOTYS gala. We plan a celebration with a difference - we'll all be having a real End of Season Party!
