We've reshaped the scheme from the one our team led from 2003. Originally the system was that we initiated the process by sending hotels and people selected on merit a Nomination Letter - well, that's back.

YOU'VE RECEIVED A LETTER :-)
This means you are now entered into this year's awards. Please let us know if the Categories feel right to you. How we go forward is up to you. Please ➦message us here to ask anything; also to let us know if you'd like to be an Active Member - all info is on ➦this page. One of the most rewarding  benefits for Active Members is that we include your team / staff: people are at the heart of what we do best. Be part of this year's new Scottish Hotel Staff Awards - it's integral to the scheme. We see every hotel as unique, and will do our best to work with you to maximise benefit for your business and team in all departments, at all levels.

YOU'VE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING :-(
Don't worry! We're allocating Nominations right up to September 2024. The scheme is open to all hotels absolutely and fairly on merit. Hopefully you will hear from us soon. Of course, if you join in as an Active Member you'll get priority attention - and be able to use the Nominated or Finalist logo as soon as we agree any Categories, as applicable, of course. You're very welcome to follow the Direct Entry path as on the ➦How to enter page and we'll do our best.

ONCE WE'RE IN TOUCH
We will be on hand to work through everything with you. The #HOTYS programme is fully year-round and, while we are working with the 2024/25 awards at the moment, we'll be writing and updating - continuously - reviews and news on the forthcoming new consumer site from this season, and in our social media. We'll be here for you - to support, encourage and promote your business - year-round. There will be a spring awards event on 3rd June, too.

YES, IT CAN BE FREE
(OR, AT LEAST, EASIER)
Limited Membership has no fee - only the outlay of enabling us to visit for research as needed, if we can include you. However, the scheme does of course need income and that comes from Active Members and a small amount of sponsorship at the Annual Awards - which generally does not make a profit as we do actually spend your ticket money on the best of food and entertainment! Plus, as you'll be more than aware, costs have shot up - not least for events.

WE'VE MADE IT EASIER TO JOIN IN FULLY
Active Membership is much less than the rates charged in the past by the awards scheme for which our team used to chair the judging and research. We can offer phased or split payments if need be and in some cases a monthly sub if that helps. We will offer 'easy terms' for event tickets, too.
